The Association for Complementary Education
The Association for Complementary Education is a non-profit association involved in educational and cultural projects.
The association was created with the aim of promoting non-formal education and cultural activities among children, adolescents and young adults. The longest running project is ADVANTAGE AT START, dedicated to teenagers and young people, which has been running uninterruptedly since 2009.

Projects
The association was created with the aim of promoting non-formal education and cultural activities among children, adolescents and young adults. The longest running project is ADVANTAGE AT START, dedicated to teenagers and young people, which has been running uninterruptedly since 2009.
Over the years, APEC has carried out educational activities and information actions in schools in Timișoara, Caransebeș, Șimleul Silvaniei. The activities were aimed at students and teachers, on topics such as professional development, the risks to which young people are exposed during the activity on the Internet, the risk of drug use. In 2021, there were free workshops with children in primary schools from the villages, in villages like Bencecul de Sus, Pișchia and Cernăteaz.

ADVANTAGES AT START
ADVANTAGES AT START
The project was started in 2009.
The aim of the project: to achieve complementary education in Romanian middle schools and high schools.
Method of production: distribution of DVDs with personal development materials, adapted to the target audience. Financial mentoring program.
Project duration: continues to this day.
The evolution of the project: since 2015 it has been transformed into an online financial mentoring project, carried out during 13 weeks, on the online education platform https://leducativ.com
Number of young people involved in the project: over 2500 (since its inception)
Notable collaborations: in 2010 and 2011, the ADVANTAGES AT START was distributed free of charge in Romanian penitentiaries, within a collaboration with the National Administration of Penitentiaries.

Concordia Familiae
Concordia Familiae Parents' Festival
Starting in 2019, APEC holds the annual “Concordia Familiae” Parents' Festival, an event organized in partnership with Dumbrăvița City Hall.
The festival has conferences dedicated to the public, with teachers, educators, pedagogues, psychologists, nutritionists.
There is also an exhibition of children's products and a number of practical workshops for children throughout the event.
Access to all events is free.

The Galactic Imaginarium
The Galactic Imaginarium Film Festival
The festival is an annual event organized since 2019, in partnership with Dumbrăvița City Hall. It has two sections: at location and the online festival. festival.galactic.one
